Gerald has been in the insurance business since 1953. Prior to starting his own agency, he was Vice President of Morton Smith, Inc. and Medway Marine Corporation. He attended Tufts University and graduated from Bryant College and the Insurance Institute at the University of Rhode Island.
Gerald lives in Providence, RI and Palm Beach Gardens, FL with his wife Carol and their dog Mikey. He enjoys golf and continuing his educational studies at local universities.

Roy joined The Egis Group right out of college in 1981. He oversees all aspects of customer service, product development, sales and underwriting for our Property and Casualty clients, and has been the architect of the division's growth for many years. He is a graduate of Tufts University, and the Insurance Institute at the University of Rhode Island.
Roy lives in Cranston, RI with his wife Susan and their fours dogs, Maya, Sophie, Baby and Daisy. He has three wonderful sons, and enjoys all sports and going to the movies.

Alex is a graduate of the University of Hartford with a degree in Insurance and Finance. He graduated with honors and won the prestigious Departmental Award for Excellence in Employee Benefits. He also graduated at the top of his class at the National Alliance School of Producer Development. He overseas the agency sales force and is responsible for the development of new business.
Alex lives in Cranston, RI and enjoys snowboarding and is a passionate Boston sports fan.

David has been in the insurance business since 1974 and has been a member of the National Life Underwriters. He has served on the Rhode Island Employee Benefit Council, and is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Association of Health Insurance Agents. David holds a B.S. degree from Johnson & Wales University.
David lives in Rehoboth, MA and South Yarmouth, MA with his wife Andrea.

Mel entered the insurance business in 1970. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Rhode Island, the American Society of CLU and ChFC. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, and has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations through the American College. Mel has also satisfied the requirements of the International Board of Standards and Practices for Certified Financial Planners (CFP).
Mel lives in Cranston, RI with his wife Debbie and two dogs, Lilly and Maggie. He has two sons, and has a passion for the game of golf.

Russell began his career in the Employee Benefits field in 1989. He joined The Egis Group as Vice President of Employee Benefits and Pension Planning in 1992. He became active in the Property & Casualty Division in 2003, and recently was promoted to Director of Corporate Relations. Russell is an Investment Advisor Representative with ING Financial Partners, and holds a Series 6 and 63 license.
Russell lives in Plymouth, MA with his wife, two horses and one rescue dog.

Alan has been in the insurance industry for over 35 years. He has been involved in all aspects of the Property & Casualty field, including sales, account management and claim settlements. At the beginning of his insurance career he lived in London, working with underwriters at Lloyds of London on account placement and negotiation of contract terms and conditions.
Alan lives in Warwick, RI with his wife and three Chihuahuas, and has two beautiful daughters and one stepson.
